Data We Collect<\/p><ul class=\"list-tight\"><li><p><strong>Authentication Data:<\/strong>\u00a0Display name and email (Google Sign\u2011In)<\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>Attendance Scan Events:<\/strong>\u00a0Timestamp, internal attendance\/member identifier (or QR reference), scan counter, ephemeral device identifier<\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>Local Device Cache:<\/strong>\u00a0Unsynced scan records stored temporarily for offline functionality<\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>Transient Camera Frames:<\/strong>\u00a0Processed only in memory to decode QR codes (not stored or transmitted)<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p><strong>We DO NOT collect:<\/strong>\u00a0precise location, contacts, stored photos, microphone audio, health data, advertising identifiers, biometric templates.<\/p><p>3. Purpose (Why We Process)<\/p><ul class=\"list-tight\"><li><p>Authenticate and authorize internal users<\/p><\/li><li><p>Record and synchronize attendance scans to organization\u2011controlled Google Sheets<\/p><\/li><li><p>Provide offline reliability and conflict\u2011free syncing<\/p><\/li><li><p>Maintain minimal operational audit trace (scan count &amp; timestamp)<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p>4. Storage &amp; Retention<\/p><ul class=\"list-tight\"><li><p><strong>Local Offline Queue:<\/strong>\u00a0Cleared on sign out or account deletion<\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>Google Sheets Rows:<\/strong>\u00a0Retained as organizational operational records (may persist after account deletion)<\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>Ephemeral Device Identifier:<\/strong>\u00a0Not a hardware serial; may rotate; used only to reconcile offline batches<\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>Account Deletion:<\/strong>\u00a0Removes Firebase auth identity and local cached scans; does not retroactively erase historic attendance rows already synchronized<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p><em>Data minimization:<\/em>\u00a0Only fields strictly needed for attendance integrity are processed.<\/p><p>5. Sharing \/ Third-Party Processors<\/p><ul class=\"list-tight\"><li><p><strong>Firebase Authentication (Google):<\/strong>\u00a0Identity management<\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>Google Sheets API:<\/strong>\u00a0Structured attendance storage (organization-controlled)<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p>No advertising SDKs. No data sold or shared for marketing or profiling.<\/p><p>6. Security<\/p><ul class=\"list-tight\"><li><p>OAuth-based Google authentication<\/p><\/li><li><p>Encrypted transport (HTTPS)<\/p><\/li><li><p>Restricted data scope reduces exposure<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p>7. Permissions &amp; Camera Use<\/p><ul class=\"list-tight\"><li><p><strong>Camera:<\/strong>\u00a0Real-time QR decoding only; no image capture or storage<\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>Network:<\/strong>\u00a0Sync attendance data to secure backend (Google Sheets)<\/p><\/li><li><p>No background location or continuous sensor tracking<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p>8. Your Choices<\/p><ul class=\"list-tight\"><li><p>Sign out at any time<\/p><\/li><li><p>Delete account in-app (removes auth identity + local cache)<\/p><\/li><li><p>Request clarification or correction (where feasible) via support email<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p>9. Children<\/p><p>The App is not directed to the general public or unsupervised minors. No targeted profiling of children occurs.<\/p><p>10. International Processing<\/p><p>Services (Firebase \/ Google) may operate in multiple regions; only minimal operational data is handled.<\/p><p>11. Changes<\/p><p>Material updates change the \u201cLast Updated\u201d date. In\u2011app copy always matches this hosted version.<\/p><p>12.
